BearCom offers additional benefits to support employees in all aspects of life.
Paid Time Off
BearCom offers Paid Time Off (PTO) for all full-time hourly employees, except for outside/commissioned sales employees who have unlimited time off and U.S. salaried employees who have Paid Flexible Time. Part-time employees are not eligible to receive PTO. PTO provides flexible time off that can be used for vacation, personal or family illness, doctor appointments, school, volunteerism and other activities of the employee's choice. Employees are not able to take time off without available PTO.
PTO Guidelines
Full-time hourly employees accrue PTO in hourly increments based on length of service. PTO is added to the employee's PTO bank the day after each semi-monthly payday. Used PTO is subtracted in one-hour increments. New employees will not see PTO on their paychecks until they have completed 90 days of service, at which time approximately 20 hours will be added to the PTO bank. PTO may be used after 90 days of service. Eligibility is contingent on the employee either working or utilizing accrued PTO for the entire semi-monthly pay period. PTO is not earned in pay periods during which unpaid leave, disability leave or workers' compensation leave are taken.
